Over the past 10 years NASSA has made a difference on and off the court. We contributed to a 46% reduction in serious youth violence and knife-related crime in Newham in 2013 and the number of young people who have lost their lives through knife crime has dropped from 11 in 2013 to zero in 2015. This is a fantastic achievement but we need funds to ensure that the number does not begin to rise again. Please donate below:

When I come to NASSA and the basketball sessions, I forget everything, all of the problems that I have outside. It all goes away because I have a family here.
My leadership skills have grown through basketball and through NASSA. I’m a leader on the court and when I go outside of the court now into my school and the things that I do, I’m able to be an effective leader there as well.”

It was huge honour for NASSA to be named Charity of the Year in The Charity Awards 2014, but it brings with it no extra funding to continue our valuable work.
