NASSA with the Embassy and Russian youth sports clubs, as well as the Academy’s prospective participation in Russia-UK humanitarian projects supported.
On 28 May 2015 Ambassador Alexander Yakovenko received in his residence young basketball players from the Newham All Stars Sports Academy, a charity based at the University of East London and aimed at engaging local young people in sports and promoting positive life choices in their future. The young athletes were accompanied by Natasha Hart, founder and leader of NASSA, club coaches and representatives of the UEL.

Alexander Yakovenko and diplomats of the Embassy took the guests on a tour of Ambassador’s residence and shared the experience of their work in the United Kingdom.
